LUSH British Nanny Facial Moisturiser SPF 30* 26.95
Packed full of natural oils such as almond, hibicus, coconut and jojoba so it contains Vitamin C and E which are skin-loving ingredients. The formula of this is really thick, I think it would suit dry skintypes best. I love that it has a high SPF. It has a strong sun cream scent so bare that in mind if you're not a fan of that smell. I really like this but the high price tag for such a small pot puts me of purchasing.
Super Facialist Vitamin C+ Brighten Moisturiser 16.99
Applying Vitamin C can help brighten skin and prevent ageing. This moisturiser has UVA/UVB protection which help to fight the damaging effects of the sun. I love the refreshing orange scent this has and it leaves skin feeling soft and hydrated.
Simple illuminating Radiance Cream SPF 15 7.99
Infused with multi-vitamins and light reflecting minerals. This instantly gives skin a radiant glow, it has tiny shimmer particles but it's really subtle and hardly noticeable. The moisturiser sinks into the skin really quickly and is the perfect primer for make up.

Make sure you apply SPF first thing in the morning, but re-apply every few hours if outdoors. look for foundation with SPF if you didn't want to re-touch your moisturiser.

I blimming love buying new skincare products, anyone else the same? A new season equals a new skincare routine, any excuse! My skin has been throwing a bit of a tantrum lately. I blame the weather and eating out too much.
The comedown from a Summer high is less than pretty with fine lines, sun spots and chlorine-dipped hair. Now is the time to reverse that summer damage with these handy tips and products.

REN Rosa Centifolia Cleansing Water 3-in-1 200ml 13.00*
A cleanser, make up remover and toner all in one. I use this at the end of the day to take my make up off. I was really impressed with how well it removes make up, even stubborn mascara. There is no tightness or irritation left with this gentle cleanser. This is great when i'm feeling lazy as you don't need to rinse it off (plus i can clean my face whilst watching telly) and i still feel like my skin is getting a good cleanse. This cleansing water is soap, alcohol and detergent free, it's also suitable for all skin types. If you're not into cleaning waters, REN have a whole selection of different cleanser in the Rosa Centifolia range here.
Super Facialist Vitamin C+ Brighten Skin Defence Daily Moisturiser 16.99
(Why such the long name?!)The Vitamin C+ range from Super Facialist is perfect for creating a more youthful, healthy glow. This brightening moisturiser contains Hyaluromic Acid and anti-oxidant rich Ferulic Acid which helps to reduce sun spots and uneven skintone. The lovely citrus scent helps to wake me up in the morning too!
Weleda Citrus Refreshing Body Oil 100ml 13.95*
As the weather shifts to drier, cooler temperatures, your skin becomes much more prone to breakage. This body oil softens and protects skin from moisture loss. It can be applied directly onto damp skin after a shower or bath. If you suffer from really dry skin i would use this in conjunction with body butter. Weleda Body Oils are formulated from carefully selected plant oils, these are rich in essential fatty acids which stimulate the regeneration and revitalisation process of the skin. This is dermatologically tested and suitable for vegans.
Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub 300ml 8.00
Soap & Glory know how to make a good scrub don't they? I recently treated myself to this after finishing my tub of Flake Away. What i love about this is its sweet scent, reminds me of lime cheesecake! Seriously, this smells good enough to eat (please don't eat it, trust me). The brown sugar and macadamia grains help me to get a good scrub.
LUSH Therapy Massage Bar 50g 6.50
Massage bars melt at body temperature and turn to rich oil on skin. This is really easy to use, simply rub the bar slowly over skin, allowing it to melt. I like to use this in the shower for a more intense aroma. These come in all different scents, Therapy contains coco butter, shea butter and organic essentials oils with mood effecting benefits. Perfect for when winter has left your skin feeling and looking dry. This is such a lovely experience to use, it's the perfect pick me up on a dark winters evening!

What skincare products have you added to your routine this A/W? Keep your eyes peeled for an 'Autumn Nails' post coming up soon :)

Did you know LUSH also do dental products, i didn't before i tried these! Toothy Tabs are basically
toothpaste in solid form. Sounds weird? Yep, it is.

The toothy tabs come in a box made from 100% recycled paper. As with all things LUSH, this is such an unique and innovative product! To use you simple place one between your front teeth and crush before brushing your teeth as normal. I've been using 'Atomic' which includes antiseptic ingredients such as clove and cinnamon.

The Results
I was sceptical at first whether these would clean my teeth as well as normal toothpaste would. I use an electric toothbrush and the Toothy Tabs foam up a lot more then i was expecting! The taste and chalky texture is something i've gotten use too and isn't unpleasant at all. After using these for nearly 4 weeks, they do clean my teeth as well as an ordinary toothpaste. I love that these are eco-friendly, cruelty-free and use essential oils. I'd never really given much thought of how many plastic toothpaste tubs i use, but it's something i'm going to try and cut down on in the future.

Atomic LUSH Toothy Tabs are 2.50 for 40 available from LUSH stores or online here.

If you read my last post you'll know it's Mother's Day this Sunday in the UK. I hope you've got your prezzie all sorted but fear not if you haven't, I have some lovely products from LUSH to show you!
These cute little creatitions are re-usable bubble bars. LUSH has bought out three special ones just for Mother's Day. They come on sticks so you can swish them in the bath tub to create as many bubbles as you fancy. You can then place them on the side to dry so can use it again.
First up is Madame Butterfly which a pretty pink rose scented butterfly. It has a hint of lemon and Egyptian geranium oil to help balance the skin, whilst the cocoa and shea butters will leave mum feeling smooth and soft. It's also suitable for vegans, yay!

This bubble bar is called chrysantheMUM, it is a yellow flower with an uplifting scent of orange, lime and juniper berries. If your mum(or you) likes the smell of freshly mown grass she will love this!

Mum's Bubble Bars retail for 5.25 and last for up to six baths. You can buy them online here or at LUSH shops.

I do enjoy a trip to Lush, even if it's just for a sniff. I love their bath products and i LOVE their showers gels but I've never tried their shampoo before...

Lush say - "This bottle is full of the power of flowers, collected and concentrated for you by the bees.
While they were collection the pollen, we searched the meadows for beautiful flowers
to fragrance their work". Doesn't that make you want to try it even more?!

Now then, I'm not really a big fan of honey but I thought this product didn't really smell like the kind of honey you'd eat. It has a very strong scent which is quite hard to describe, a bit florally with a hint of orange & honey - i quite like it! This lathers really well and once rinsed out, your hair will smell delicious.

I use about a 10p sized dollop each time & for quite a small bottle it seems to be lasting for ages! I have dry bleached hair & i find this helps to restore shine and moisture to my over-worked locks.

You can purchase this for 7 for 110g from Lush stores and online

What do you think of Lush? :)

This week Lush have launched a new make up range called Emotional Brilliance! The range is designed around providing shades that match up with the wearer's emotions. The line has a collection of vegan lip colours, eye shadows and eye liners in an array of vibrant colours. Lush provided me with a few samples which I've been testing out for a couple of weeks so I can share my thoughts with you.
First up are the Liquid Lipsticks. The quirky packaging really fits in the the aesthetics of the brand. On first impressions I though it would be a pipette type applicator but it's actually a doe foot applicator which works really well the the product consistency. The glass bottles the lipstick comes in is 100% recyclable and not tested on animals. I found the pigmentation of these to be excellent. The colour went on nicely as they have a smooth creamy texture which left my lips feeling  moisturised. The staying power of these are amazing, almost like a stain! Below are some photographs and swatches of the product.
Another item from the collection is their liquid eye liners. I have the shade 'Healthy' which is a bright green. I do like this but because the wand is so short it does make it difficult to apply. The liner dries fairly quickly and the consistency makes it easy to get a neat line. The staying power on this is also amazing - great for oily eyelids!

So, what do you think of the new make up range from Lush? About time they launched a make up line I say!The colour range is joined with a mascara, a translucent powder and two skin tints. Emotional Brilliance launched worldwide on July 21st and prices start from 14.50.
